Wrestlemania XL (40) is this weekend, and I must say, having been there live and in person at AEW Revolution last month to watch Sting's final match... they have a tough act to follow.
I'm sure they're up to the challenge, though. After all, it's the reason they are the number one brand in sports entertainment. WWE is the "Kleenex" or "Band-Aid" brand of wrestling. It's what the non-fan knows and is often the generic term for pro wrestling.
You can catch this year's Wrestlemania (live from Philadelphia, PA) on Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th, both nights starting at 5:00PM Eastern for the Pre-Show or 7:00PM Eastern if you want to skip the pre-game festivities. You can stream the "Premium Live Event" (as WWE ridiculously calls it) on Peacock or ordered through regular PPV.
In the meantime, I thought now would be a good time to take a look at some of the Wrestlemania's of the past and get ourselves in the mood for the weekend's fun!
Back in 2020, as the world began to fall apart (and I believe it was before we knew they were going to cancel Wrestlemania and have it live from an empty warehouse,) I did a "Retro Wrestlemania" lookback, covering some of my favorite Wrestlemania's of time gone by.
Of course, you can always head to the Collections Tab and find many, many articles related to pro wrestling (and plenty of other topics!).
Enjoy the show this weekend folks, and I'll be back Monday morning with some more fun stuff!
